It's not easy having a soul
or having a lifeline strung
between two souls.
It's not easy having a mind
or having spoiled
marmalade
in place of a mind.
It's not easy having a heart,
sharing a heart,
accepting a heart,
understanding a heart.
It's not easy having a body,
somebody,
nobody
to touch your soul,
your mind,
your heart.
It's not easy at all.
