There is a sign over the road

saying NO ADMITTANCE
but people pass by
if there were no sign.

Behind the sign there is a ditch
FULL OF RUBBISH,
but people do not see it
and pass by
if there were no ditch at all.

Behind the ditch there is a town,
a town that NEEDS NO PEOPLE,
people are born here and here they die,
here they beguile their time and enjoy.

The town needs no people,
this town full of rubish mountains
behind its ditches
spends its days peacefully.
