Eternal grace

Heaven must have blessed me,
Gave to me a fertile gift,
Slapped me with the healing hand
And boldly pushed me to a drift.

Now the road has taken me
To a land I’ve never seen,
To a surface so unknown,
No one ever here has been.

With the mountains so majestic,
That your breath is taken away,
And the sky so large and vast,
Your sight can never go astray.

Ever crystal clear the rivers
And the lakes like perfect mirrors,
They invite you in for swimming,
Fill your soul with hope in winning.

Godly gift this sure has been,
If ever have I one seen,
Thus experience I can,
What is very hard for men.

Ability to reach the heights
Of a mountain steep in slope,
See the view that is unique,
Get what all the men still hope.

Truly fine this gift now is,
Because it’s growing at an ease.
It does not grow only in height,
It grows with me into my heart.

It never ceases to amaze,
Gracious is the lovely daze,
I’m bedazzled every time,
For yours is the eternal grace.
