Brezupen boj bijem proti dnevu
ne zmorem sonca zadržati na nebu
vedno znova mi pobegne tja na drugo stran
potlej noč me spet objame, temna polovica dneva me drži.

Utrinki zvezd me vodijo skoz' temo,
ko sonce mine, hodim sam, po mraku tipajoč.
Želim si, da sonce ostane nekje v očesu,
a v noči, nekje, le najdem uteho.

Hrepenim, da mi luč dneva obsije obraz,
da izginejo sence, ki me vlečejo v mraz,
a v temi vseeno najdem neko zavetje.

Občutek miru, ki osvobodi mojo dušo.
Čeprav bo ta dan odšel, vem da je noč prijazna
pod njenim pokrivalom se bom do novega dneva skril.

The stars above twinkle and shine so bright
guiding me through my never-ending fight
I long for the sun to stay in my sight
gut the moon's soft glow eases my plight.

I yearn for the light to shine on my face
to chase away the shadows that haunt me
but in the dark, I find a quiet grace.

A sense of peace that sets my soul free
though the day may fade, the night will be kind
in its darkness, solace I always find.
