From my archeological notes
WITHIN HEARTH
Period: Late Minoan, 1600-1500 BCE
Site: Petras, Crete, Aegean Sea
Migration of peoples
From the Near East
A flow of ideas
Intense contact
New genetic and cognitive maps
Patterns of civilization as deep as
The 10th millennium BCE
Deep deep deep
Imagine the distant space
And time
It had been moving
Inside the uterus
The infant's head
Near the mouth
Waiting for a new breath of air
Placed in a downward position
Inside a vessel
Inside a dwelling
So close to its mother
The body survived
In excellent condition
The sacred power
Of child death
Intramural inhumation
"We now know that the founders of
the first advanced European civilization were
European.«
Extramural inhumanity
WITHOUT H
Period: Early 21st Century
Site: off Petronium, Aegean Sea
A flow of people
From the Near East
Migration of Idea
Intense contact
Old genetic and cognitive maps
Patterns of civilization as deep as
The 10th millennium BC
Deep deep deep
Imagine the short space
And time
The child had been moving
Outside the uterus
The toddler's body
In prone position
Waiting for a new tidal wave
Outside a dwelling
Outside a vessel
So close to his Mother
The boy survived
By his Father

"Anyone who saw those pictures overnight could not help but be moved
and, as a father, I felt deeply moved by the sight of that young boy on a
beach in Turkey."
Po taki izjavi politika seveda lahko pričakujemo "but". Preletela sem zapise v časopisih, ki povzemajo izjavo:
David Cameron says he was deeply moved by the sight of a young boy found dead on a beach in Turkey.
David Cameron says he was deeply moved by the pictures of a three-year-old Syrian boy found drowned on a beach in Turkey.
David Cameron has said "as a father I felt deeply moved" by the image of a Syrian boy dead on a Turkish beach.
David Cameron has said that "as a father I felt deeply moved" by the tragic pictures of Syrian refugee Aylan Kurdi lying dead on a Turkish beach and promised that Britain would fulfil its "moral responsibilities".
David Cameron has said he felt "deeply moved" by pictures of the dead Syrian boy Aylan Kurdi washed up on a Turkish beach, but he gave no details of any new UK plans to take in more refugees.
With the story all over the front pages and critics urging a step change in the number of Syrians being offered sanctuary, Cameron said he was "deeply moved" by the harrowing image but defended the government's record and stuck to his position.
