To the lake so wide,
With heart so light
We walked to
The lake's soft sight,
Side by side.
Not a word said,
Just quiet air,
As he pulled out his hand,
Inviting a care,
Wiggled there.
In that moment of warmth,
The world felt anew.
Beneath the soft whispers
Of trees overhead,
We found our own language,
In glances we met.
