A moment lost, where longing held its sway.

Yet shadows danced, and words just slipped away.

The stars above, they whispered in the night,
A choice unmade, a dream we could not claim.
In glowing hearts, the spark was ever bright,
But fear restrained, and left us both the same.

So here I stand, in wonder and in doubt,
What held me back from sealing love with you?
A thousand thoughts inside, a silent shout,
Yet still the truth remains, I never knew.

In time’s embrace, the moments come and go,
Regret may linger, but the heart will grow.
