from clouds above,

over my shaggy head,
Like a wet dog
seeking a cozy nook,

The rain crawls
over my bare skin,
Cold breath hugs
my body tight,
In this moment,
everything feels right.
The world is dim, but I feel alive,
Beneath the umbrella,
a simple luxury, a soft retreat,
With each drop,
my heart skips a beat.

A path through leaves,
Where sunlight filters,
In emerald canopy I stand,
A fleeting moment, close at hand.
A puddle gleams, a glassy sheen,
Reflecting skies, a vibrant scene.
The road below, a ribbon gray,
Where shadows dance and softly play.

The red umbrella screams
towards the sky,
Move away dark clouds,
let the light draw nigh.
May the happy sun live again, so bright,
Chasing away shadows,
bringing warmth and light.
