The Boy and the Sword

A lad once had a sword so bright,
With which he sought the golden apple's light,
Upon the dawn, his dreams took flight,
In quest of truth, he felt the might.

The blade, a gleam of hope and pride,
Through forests deep, where shadows hide,
He ventured forth, with heart as guide,
To find the treasure, wisdom’s tide.

Through trials faced, and valleys low,
He learned that strength is more than steel,
The light he sought would always glow,
In kindness shared, in love's true zeal.

So wield your sword, but let it shine,
For brighter is the heart divine.
