Dal ji je rože
šopek cvetja
rdeče vrtnice je imel rad.
Dal bi ji poljub,
ker bi ji povedal,
da jo še vedno
ima rad.
Rože je vzela
verjetno iz navade
poljuba ni dala,
ker je pozabila,
da sta si tako nekoč
povedala,
kako se rada imata.
Sedaj je vse
le še rutina.
Iz dneva v dan.
Ne pijeva več
iz kristala
romantičnega vina.
Otroci bodo odšli,
midva ...
midva pa se bova
morala spet
najti.
Mogoče bom spet poizkusil
s šopkom vrtnic ...

Bouquet of roses

He gave her flowers
a bouquet of flowers
of red roses he loved.
He would give her a kiss

loves her.
She took the flowers
