the River's Roar

From the river's roar, I drank on the steep cliff,
A glowing crystal planted in my heart so stiff.
No meaning but the moment's blissful delight,
Children in the distance, calls in the wind take flight.

The water's rush echoed in my ears,
A symphony of nature that erases fears.
The sun's warm embrace upon my skin,
In that moment, peace from within.

The beauty of the world around,
A reminder that in chaos, peace can be found.
The laughter of children, innocence pure,
In their joy, my own heart finds a cure.

So I drink from the river's roar,
And let the moment seep into my core.
For in nature's embrace, I find solace,
And in its beauty, my soul finds grace.
